Coastal morphodynamics, sedimentology, and stratigraphy; geological record and chronology of barrier emplacement, progradation, and modification; nature of sediment fluxes into coastal lakes; barrier breaching mechanisms and geological signatures of relict tidal inlets; fluvial-marine interaction and bedload dynamics in high-latitude estuaries; applications of high-resolution geophysical methods to coastal and inner shelf research.
