Environmental Scholars Program: Field internship research opportunities in environmental science, policy, and education, by application. Minors participating in this program whose research is in environmental science receive credit toward the minor in the specialized science area. Minors focusing on policy and education receive credit in the specialized policy area. The Environmental Scholars Program is open to all students with preference given to juniors and seniors. A Note About the Environmental Studies Curriculum

New courses are being developed and added to the current offerings listed above. Interested students should check with the Environmental Studies Program staff for the latest information. Students are also advised that other courses, both in the University or as part of an outside program, may be substituted for the above requirements upon petition to and approval by the Program Director, Dr. Eric Strauss.
