2017 Greater Boston Intercollegiate Undergraduate Poetry Festival

Students selected by professors at some 20 Boston-area colleges and universities will read from their own poetry at this annual intercollegiate poetry event. Andrea Cohen, Director of the Writers House at Merrimack College and the Blacksmith House Poetry Series in Cambridge, MA, will be the keynote speaker. Recipient of a PEN Discovery award and Glimmer Train’s Short Fiction Award, Cohen is the author of Furs Not Mine (Four Way, 2015), Kentucky Derby (Salmon Poetry, 2011), Long Division (Salmon Poetry, 2009), and The Cartographer’s Vision (Owl Creek Press, 1999). Her next poetry collection, Unfathoming, is forthcoming from Four Way Books. Cohen’s poems and stories have appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry, the Threepenny Review, the Atlantic Monthly, the New Republic and more.
