Matt Heitzman
Matt Heitzman is a second year Ph.D. candidate. He earned his Bachelors
degree from Miami University (Ohio).
After working for three years for
the French Ministry of Education, Matt completed his Masters degree at
Boston College.
His research interests include 19th century French and
English literary studies and translation theory.
Nikhil Gupta
Nikhil is a second year Ph.D. student. He received his BA and MA from
The University of Notre Dame. His primary research and teaching interest
is in Transatlantic Irish Modernism with a secondary interest in the
literature of 19th century American expansion.
Jason Kerr
Jason Kerr is a Ph.D. candidate at Boston College, having completed undergraduate work at
Arizona State University. His interests primarily lie in the early modern period: Milton, Shakespeare, Donne, Herbert. He also engages ideas of politics and religion, to include
a fascination with Kierkegaard.
Amy Witherbee
Amy Witherbee is a third year PhD student working in Irish, English,
and Scottish literatures of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
