Alvarez Work At HEALTHINF 2011 Named "Best Paper"
A research paper by CS Department Prof. Sergio Alvarez and co-authors A. Khasawneh, C. Ruiz, S. Misra, and M. Moonis entitled, "EEG and ECG Characteristics of Human Sleep Composition Types" has been named Best Paper at the Fourth International Conference on Health Informatics (HEALTHINF 2011) held last month in Rome, Italy.
The Conference was held in conjunction with the Fourth International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies (BIOSTEC 2011). Fewer than 9 percent (48/538) of submitted manuscripts were accepted as full papers.
