Eligibility for Honors Program

FOR THE CLASSES OF 2017 AND PRIOR:

To be accepted into the Communication Honors Program, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher upon being invited to the program.  Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher until graduation.  

In order to graduate with Communication Honors, a student must maintain a cumulative 3.75 or higher GPA and satisfactorily complete the honors thesis according to the standards of the Communication Department and the student's thesis advisor. Honors students will receive a total of nine credit hours for their participation in, and completion of, the program. Six of these hours will be earned in the honors seminars and three will be earned through the writing of the honors thesis.

FOR THE CLASSES OF 2018 AND BEYOND:

To be accepted into the Communication Honors Program, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher upon being invited to the program.  Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher until graduation.

In order to graduate with Communication Honors, a student must maintain a cumulative 3.70 or higher GPA and satisfactorily complete the honors thesis according to the standards of the Communication Department and the student's thesis advisor.
