John Katsulas, Director Of Forensics

John Katsulas came to the Fulton Debating Society as Debate Coach in 1986 and he become Director of Debate in 1994. He has now served as Director longer than anyone since the Society was founded in 1867.

The Fulton Debating Society has thrived under the leadership of Mr. Katsulas. The Fultonians have won dozens of tournaments, more than twenty different teams have qualified to attend the National Debate Tournament, and the Society has finished first three times in the final NDT rankings.

A well known debate theorist and respected judge, Mr. Katsulas is active in a variety of professional associations. Past and present service includes President of the American Debate Association; District 8 Representative to the NDT Committee; and Associate Editor of Argumentation and Advocacy.
