Dr. William Stanwood has been a television writer/producer/director for over thirty years. He has created award-winning programs for companies such as IBM, Mass General Hospital, John Hancock, and Sun Life of Canada, to name a few. He has created programming for cable television as well as television commercials. As a teacher at Boston College, he originated the television production courses offered by the Communication Department. He oversees the TV production sequence and manages the department's audio and video laboratory. Dr. Stanwood is a graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor of Science in Radio, Television, and Film Communication. He holds a Master of Education from Boston University in Educational Media and Instructional Technology with a specialization in Instructional Television. He earned a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Teaching, also from Boston University. Dr. Stanwood is a member of the Broadcast Education Association, as well as the Pi Lambda Theta honor society. |
