Curriculum Vitae



 

Rita Rosenthal graduated with honors from Appalachian State University in North Carolina with a B.S. in Communication Education. She competed on the nationally recognized forensics team, winning numerous awards. Professor Rosenthal completed her M.A. and additional graduate work in Interpersonal and Public Communication at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Her thesis explored time of day as a factor of audience persuasibility. While at Bowling Green, Professor Rosenthal coached the nationally ranked individual events speech team.

Professor Rosenthal has been teaching Public Speaking and other courses at Boston College for 18 years. She has also instructed students at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Stonehill College, Bridgewater State College and Boston University. Her research interests include rhetoric and public address.
