The Roger Woolsey Adjunct Faculty Award is presented to an outstanding part-time instructor in the Communication Department.
Professor Woolsey was a part-time instructor in the department for more than a decade before he was hired as the department's first Counselor. In this role, he distinguished himself with both his energy and his devotion to Communication majors and alums. In January 2008, Professor Woolsey left the department to become the Director of the Career Center at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
The winner of the Roger Woolsey Adjunct Faculty Award is determined by a vote of students receiving departmental honors. The award is presented at the Communication Honors Dinner traditionally held on the first Sunday in May.
