Kristen Stewart Maynard, PhD ’03, McLaughlin Group, is a Research Associate in the Department of Medicine Stem Cell Institute at the University of Minnesota. She is performing research into the use of induce pluripotent stem cells as a cellular therapeutic for treating Type 1 diabetes. Kristen has a two year old son, Louis.

Kevin Hayes, B.S. ’98, is a Team Leader, Genome Analytics for DuPont Pioneer. He leads a team responsible for the management, analysis and dissemination of Next Generation Sequencing data to be used in agricultural biotech field.
