BCC holds Annual Spring Open House weekends for prospective graduate students admitted to Boston College who are residing in the United States. This is a good opportunity for admitted students to learn more about the cutting edge research being done at the Merkert Chemistry Center; to meet with faculty and current graduate students; to visit laboratory facilities; and to discover the rewards of graduate student life at Boston College.

The Graduate Admissions Open Houses in the Chemistry Department were held on March 13 and 14, 2009. Admitted students are sent an e-mail with event details and travel arrangements.

Travel arrangements and hotel reservations will be made by the department. If you have additional questions, please contact the Graduate Programs Administrator, Ms. Dale L. Mahoney at chemadmissions@bc.edu.

Graduate Admissions Open Houses are organized on a first-come, first-serve basis. In scheduling the Open Houses, every effort will be made to provide each individual with their first choice of dates. If you are unable to attend a scheduled Open House, please contact the Graduate Programs Administrator to arrange an individual visit. An individual visit is subject to department and faculty schedules.
