The Merkert Chemistry Center at Boston College invites applications for a tenure-track position to be effective in the fall of 2009:
Physical Chemistry – all branches thereof and all related interdisciplinary chemistry fields (materials, soft condensed matter, single molecule spectroscopy). Applicants are sought at the Assistant Professor level; however, outstanding applicants at the senior level are also welcome. Successful applicants are expected to establish a prominent, externally funded research program and will join a faculty of approximately 125 doctoral students, 30 post-doctoral fellows, 200 undergraduate majors, and an internationally recognized faculty. Boston College, located in a residential community bordering the city of Boston, is within 20 minutes of the major universities and medical centers in the Boston/Cambridge area..
