The Merkert Chemistry Center welcomed the inaugural Jeong-Long Lin Fellows as they began their summer research projects in our faculty laboratories.
Patrick Momplaisir (left) worked with
Professor Larry McLaughlin’s research group on a project that entails synthesizing modified oligonucleotides for use in studying biological events such as RNA processing.
Andrew Rivera (center) worked with
Professor Kian Tan’s research group on a project to develop methods for controlling selectivity in organic reactions.
Ervin Pejo (right) worked with
Professor Mary Roberts’s research group on a project that looks at phospholipases and their interactions with membranes.
