Jeff Lamoureux is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. He grew up on a Vermont dairy farm and then spent 16 years in North Carolina studying and teaching learning theory and neuroscience at Duke University, while visiting as many BBQ joints as he could find. He served as Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies for both the Psychology and Neuroscience majors while at Duke, and continues to devote substantial time working with students in both the classroom, laboratory, and as an academic advisor. A frequent member of the PreHealth Committee, Lamoureux spends his non-working hours at his home in Newton with his wife and two young children, Cyrus and Hazel, most often coloring pictures of "bad guys" or telling stories of princesses.
