“Uniting and preparing Boston College undergraduates for careers in the field of veterinary medicine through advising, animal experience and exposure to the veterinary field in the disciplines of large animal, small animal, and exotic medicine.”

Mission:

The Boston College Pre-Veterinary Group was created in 2009 and now has grown to over 20 members.

The group meets bimonthly for discussions on vet schools and topics in veterinary medicine. As well the meetings are forums for students to practice technical skills such as catheter placement and phlebotomy.

The group produces a newsletter twice a semester and has several field trips to different vet-related sites in the Boston area.
