2900TR Liquid Scintillation Analyzer 2100 Liquid Scintillation Analyzer

Perkin-Elmer Tri-Carb 2900TR Liquid Scintillation Analyzer. The Perkin-Elmer Tri-Carb liquid scintillation analyzer is a bench top instruments for measuring small amounts of beta, gamma and alpha radioactivity. The Tri-Carb features QuantaSmart instrument software for the Windows XP operating system running on an internal Pentium PC. QuantaSmart is simple to use, minimizes counting errors and provides automatic, reliable, easy-to-read reports.

Packard Tri-Carb2100 Liquid Scintillation Analyzer. The Packard Tri-Carb is a computer controlled benchtop liquid scintillation analyzer for detecting small amounts of alpha, beta, and gamma radioactivity. The unit has many built-in features such as electrostatic controller to minimize such effects as static electricity. Automatic data reduction includes averaging of repeat sample counts, percent C.V., low count rejection, and result normalization. Even user defined equations can be programmed in. Output can be formatted for standard spreadsheet-type calculations if you so choose. Luminescence detection, half-life correction and background subtraction are standard features.

The scintillation counters are located in rm. 483. For questions, please contact John O'Grady.
