Undergraduate College

 

Senior Class
William H. Petri, Associate Dean

Academic dean for seniors overseeing the completion of degrees, responsible for academic review for seniors, graduation clearance, oversees selection into senior honor societies and commencement awards.


Junior Class
Akua Sarr, Associate Dean

Academic dean for the junior class regarding issues related to progress towards degree completion and academic good standing, responsible for academic review of juniors, and oversees the internal transfer process into Arts and Sciences.


Sophomore Class
Clare Dunsford, Associate Dean

Academic dean for sophomore students who have formally declared a major, meets with individual sophomores regarding progress towards degree completion, academic good standing, academic review of sophomores, and is also director of the Cornerstone Topic Seminar Program for first year students.


Freshman Class
Elizabeth Nathans, Director, Academic Advising Center

Responsible for the advisement for all first year students and also for sophomore students who have not formally declared a major. Completes academic review for freshmen.


Finance and Administration
Barbara Viechnicki, Associate Dean

Responsible for oversight of financial planning and management of academic departments within Arts and Sciences, as well as administrative systems, personnel management and staffing, and primary liaison to other University departments.


Graduate School

Candace Hetzner, Associate Dean

Handles issues regarding academic standing, student grievances, funding opportunities, graduation clearance, and student life.


Admissions and Administration
Robert V. Howe, Associate Dean

Responsible for the Graduate School admissions, application status, financial aid, and student records.
