Professional Studies Certificate Programs - Undergraduate


        Current Woods College degree students interested in adding a certificate program to their plan of study should complete the certificate intent form.

        Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for enrollment in a certificate program unless s/he is currently enrolled in a Woods College degree program.

 

How to Apply

To be considered for enrollment in a Certificate program, applicants are responsible for submitting all necessary application materials by the designated program deadlines (see below).

Undergraduate Certificate Requirements

  • Online application form
  • Application fee $45 (to be paid as part of the online application)
  • Personal Statement * (500 - 750 words)
  • Official high school or GED transcript OR
  • Official college/university transcript
  • Résumé (optional)

 

Application Deadlines

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and candidates should complete the application process by the first day of classes for the semester in which s/he wishes to take courses.

* Personal Statement

Please submit a personal statement responding to the topic listed below.  Your personal statement should be typewritten, double-spaced, and should be limited to 500 – 750 words in length.  The personal statement is important to the Admissions Committee as it allows the committee to assess your personal goals, your reasons for choosing the program to which you are applying, your commitment to your educational goals, and your writing ability.  The personal statement must be uploaded as part of your on-line application.

        include how obtaining a Professional Studies Certificate will further your
        career and/or educational goals.
