EVENING Courses
Individuals wishing to attend evening classes without being in a degree program may take Undergraduate courses on an open enrollment basis, and normal tuition costs will apply. For course selection, please see the WCAS Undergraduate Course listing.

Graduate courses are restricted to students in the Master's program only.


DAY Courses
Individuals wishing to attend during the day as special undergraduate students must apply to the James A. Woods, S.J., College of Advancing Studies for Visiting Student status. Each applicant is advised during the academic process. Qualified applicants are admitted to specific courses on an individual basis*. The tuition for such a course is $1284 per credit hour. Registration fee is $20.

Registration
Mail-in/Fax Fall registration begins August 1st.  In-person Fall registration is held Monday, August 31th through Thursday, September 3rd from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, September 4th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, September 8nd from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Fall classes begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2009.


Mail-in/Fax Spring registration begins December 1st.  In-person Spring registration is held Wednesday, January 13th through Thursday, January 14th from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Friday, January 15th from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, January 19th from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Spring classes begin on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.

Immunization

Massachusetts State Law requires that all students who are registering for 9 or more credits show proof of satisfactory immunizations. For more information please visit University Health Services. Failure to show proof of immunization within 30 days from the first day of class will result in a block on your registration and a non-refundable administrative late fee of $50 will be charged to your student account.

Medical Insurance

Annual mandatory Massachusetts medical insurance is $1741. If you enroll in 9 or more credits per semester you will automatically be enrolled in the Boston College Insurance Plan. Students who wish to waive the BC Insurance Plan electronically may do so through AGORA. The deadline to waive the Medical Insurance for Fall is September 18, 2009 and by January 29, 2010 for the spring semester insurance coverage.

Payments and Refunds

All fees and tuition charges are due when courses begin.

Fees are not refundable; no refunds are made to auditors. Not attending classes, stopping payment on a registration check or a registration check being returned by the bank does not constitute withdrawal and full charges are due. Upon recept of written notice of withdrawal from a course the tuition refunded is prorated. Fax number is 617-552-3199. There are no refunds beyond this schedule.
