Employer-aligned, convenient and personalized, the Master of Healthcare Administration was designed in close collaboration with industry healthcare professionals and provides the next generation in online learning: competency-based education.
Our competency-based model allows you to build on what you already know, demonstrate mastery at your pace, and focus on learning what is most meaningful to you.
Earning an MHA at Boston College will allow you to master the skills and knowledge necessary to take on new or expanded leadership roles in the healthcare industry. Our 46-credit program is convenient, flexible and offers the support you need from start to finish.
Self-Paced, Faculty-Led Online Courses
Twelve of your 13 courses can be completed entirely online. Your courses include self-paced elements, as well as real-time interactions and meetings with your faculty instructor and classmates.
As part of one of your courses in the MHA program, you will travel to Boston College’s main campus over a long weekend.
Meaningful Online Interaction with Your Peers
Courses include opportunities to engage with your peers to collaborate, develop and present cutting-edge projects that address strategic and tactical challenges facing the healthcare industry.
Self-Paced Individual Learning Quests
We will work with you throughout your program to determine your strengths and challenge areas. Together, we will design a learning plan to challenge you and expand your professional skills – all with the support and guidance you need to succeed.
Six- or Eight-Week Format
Courses are offered in an accelerated format and are eight weeks in the fall/spring, and six weeks in the summer.
A dedicated Executive Coach will provide you with support and guidance to help you succeed in the program.
