We are a research facility located in Building 2 at the Weston Observatory, Department of Geology & Geophysics at Boston College specializing in Palæopalynology and the origin and early evolution of land plants. The laboratory pursues basic research in evolution from the prespective of the fossil record and the influence of ecological relations on evolutionar y processes and patterns. Our research has been supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, the Petroleum Research Fund of the American Chemical Society and The National Geographic Society.
