The Family Wealth Impact Project
Center on Wealth and Philanthropy
The Family Wealth Impact Project conducts qualitative and quantitative research that investigates the impact of wealth on families and individuals. The goal is to identify the factors that contribute to families being successful.
The project identifies individual and familial attitudes, practices and philosophies regarding wealth. We differentiate the factors that contribute to risk and resiliency. The results of our project will inform high net worth families as they strive to make wise decisions. In doing so, the project impacts both current wealth holders and generations to come.
Specifically the project is conducting research on:
- Philanthropic leadership development in young women
- The philanthropy education of young adults
- The risk and resiliency factors for youth in high net worth households
- The psychological, emotional and moral dilemmas raised by inherited wealth
- The development of philanthropic attitudes, values and behaviors
- The factors that contribute to the developmental successes and failures of adult children of wealth holders.
