Most versions of the AOL Browser are incompatible with our survey software. Therefore, we recommend that you use an alternative internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, et cetera) to complete the survey. Please feel free to call 617-620-0970 if you would like help opening an alternative browser (you will not need to identify yourself in any way during this call). Or, instructions for opening an alternative browser are provided below for Mac or PC.

Instructions for PC users:
Cable Modem Instructions:
1) Click on the “Start” button (most likely on the lower, left-hand side of your screen).
2) Click on the “Programs” option.
3) Click on the “Internet Explorer” option.
4) After the Internet Explorer program opens, click on the navigation field at the top of the screen (this is the text field that is filled with a web address that begins with http://www), and replace the contents of the navigation field with the following: http://www.bc.edu/research/cwp/
5) Finally, click on the text “Login to Take the Study Now” and proceed as usual.
Dial-up Instructions:
1) Connect through your internet service provider as usual (i.e. log on to AOL).
