MaryPat Lohse is Assistant for Administration at the Center on Wealth and Philanthropy at Boston College. She received her bachelor's degree in literature from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. She completed her Master's in Education with a concentration in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy at Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in higher education administration at Boston College's Lynch School of Education.

MaryPat joins the Boston College community after spending seven years at Wheelock College in various capacities, most recently as Academic Project Manager in the Office of the President. Among the projects she worked on while at Wheelock were: accreditation initiatives for the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC); strategic planning initiatives; issues related to the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL); and event coordination. She also served as the executive assistant to the Presidential Search Committee, and taught several seminar courses.

While pursuing her Ph.D., MaryPat plans to focus on issues of organization and senior leadership transition in higher education.
