Dan was awarded a BA cum laude by Boston University in 1972, where he was University Scholar-Athlete, a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard in 1975, and a
Law degree from Boston University in l980.
Dan is a lawyer and professional trustee who manages a private family office for several clients, based in Lincoln, Massachusetts.
For over 25 years he has helped families navigate through the process of planning family trusts and foundations and transitioning family owned businesses to the next generation.
Dan has also helped to resolve several extended disputes between family members, where billions of dollars of trust assets were at stake. He has also assisted several clients who have discovered that trusted employees were embezzling their assets.
He has extensive experience in planning, merging and managing not-for-profit organizations. He has helped establish approximately 40 nonprofit organizations in and beyond Boston, including Community Rowing in Cambridge, the Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund and the Massachusetts 9/11 Fund.
Prior to starting a private family office in 2005, Dan was an attorney with Hale and Dorr, Broude & Hochberg, Davis Malm and the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig. |
