Catholics and Jews: The Unfinished Agenda

Ron Kronish

Monday, November 21, 2005, 4:30 - 7:00 p.m., location on the Boston College campus tba (directions)

As part of the Center's year-long observance of the 40th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council declaration, Nostra Aetate, this program will feature a screening of the award-winning film I Am Joseph Your Brother. This documentary charts the developments in Catholic-Jewish relations since the declaration's issuance in 1965.

After the film, one of its creators, Rabbi Dr. Ron Kronish will offer thoughts on the "unfinished agenda" in Catholic-Jewish relations, including unresolved questions, concerns, persistent issues, or future prospects from a Jewish perspective. Center director Philip Cunningham will offer a brief response from a Catholic point of view, followed by general discussion. Both sets of remarks will be posted on the Center's website.

Mark your calendar for what promises to be a fascinating discussion.

Director of the Interreligious Coordinating Council in Israel (ICCI) since 1992, Dr. Ron Kronish is also a noted rabbi, educator, author, lecturer and speaker.
