African Higher Education Harmonisation and Tuning Project (Tuning Africa)
One transformation initiative which links institutional, national, regional, continental and international endeavours is the African Higher Education Harmonization and Tuning Project (Tuning Africa), which is part of the Africa-EU strategic partnership. This initiative aims to enhance degree comparability, graduate mobility and employability.

The Association of African Universities (AAU) has provided a platform for research, reflection, consultation, debates, co-operation and collaboration on issues pertaining to higher education.
Southern African Regional Universities Association (SARUA)

Southern African-Nordic Centre (SANORD)
The Southern African-Nordic Center is a partnership of higher education institutions from all the Nordic countries and southern Africa. Its primary aim is to promote multilateral research cooperation on matters of importance to the development of both regions.
University World News (UWN) - Africa Edition
