A New Addition to the Innovative Practices Database: Kimberly-Clark Family Caregivers Network

The Sloan Center on Aging & Work collaborates with business leaders to highlight innovative practices affecting quality of employment in the age-diverse workplace. Click here to view our 45 practices, including the newest addition:

 

This unusual employee resource group provides support and informational resources to employees who are involved in care of an older family member. The network's activities are coordinated by a volunteer leadership committee; the committee maintains an active email distribution list to keep network members up to date on area caregiving resources. It also plans forums on topics of interest to employees and managers. The network benefits the company by enhancing its commitment to age diversity. Managers also benefit by better understanding the needs of older adults who provide care. Read more ยป
