Sloan Center's EAWA project advancing to new research to explore management of engagement in later life

Dr. Larry Ludlow, Professor and Department Chair of the Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation Department of the Lynch School of Education at Boston College has been invited to make a presentation based on work from the Center’s Engaged As We Age (EAWA) project to the School of Counselling, Human Services and Social Work, Faculty of Education, University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand on February 4, 2013. The project is a collaboration between the Center, the School of Social Work and the Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation Department and is aimed at a developing a new definition and strategy for the measurement of engagement (as differentiated from involvement) in later life.

The project team includes: Christina Matz-Costa, Jackie James, Larry Ludlow, Melissa Brown, Elyssa Besen, Clair Johnson (Doctoral Student, Educational Research, Measurement, and Evaluation Department, Lynch School of Education) and Marcie Pitt-Catsouphes.
