15% of unincorporated self-employed workers are age 65+

“The unincorporated self-employment rate among workers aged 65 years and older was the highest (15.5%) of any age group.”  For those aged 55-64, the rate was 8.8%. “Incorporated self-employment rates also rose with age,” with the highest rate for ages 65+ at 8.6%, according to a 2016 analysis of BLS data.
