Adults Aged 55+ Now 21% of Labor Force—up from 12% in 1992

"From 1992 to 2002, the share of the labor force for those aged 55 and over increased from 11.8% to 14.3%. In 2012, their share of the labor force increased to 20.9% and is now projected to increase to 25.6% by 2022," according to a 2014 analysis of BLS data.
