Average Weekly Hours for Mature Workers Almost the Same as for All Workers

"Across all occupations, the mean weekly hours of employment among workers of all ages was 38 hours; only one hour more than the mean weekly hours of employment among mature workers," according to a 2012 analysis of data from the American Community Survey.
