Less Than Half of Private-sector Workers Chose to Participate in a Retirement Plan
"Nearly two-thirds of private industry workers had access to some form of retirement plan…and 48 percent chose to participate in a retirement benefit plan," according to a 2012 analysis of National Compensation Survey data.
