Only 18% of U.S. Adults Expect to Stop Working when They Reach Retirement Age
According to a 2012 global survey of workers and retirees, among U.S. respondents, only 18% of current workers are "expecting to stop working immediately when they reach retirement age." Worldwide, the majority of current workers (60%) expect to keep working in some manner beyond their retirement age.
