Most Employers Don't Measure the Impact of Absence from Work

"Although almost one-quarter (23%) of employers say they incorporate absence management as part of their current health care strategy, less are actually measuring the impact or cost associated with absence. Currently, the majority of organizations (87%) do not measure the impact or cost of absence," according to a 2011 survey of over 1000 employers.
