Employees Considering a Move
Could Trigger Critical Talent Shortage
One-third (32%) of US workers "are seriously considering leaving their organization at the present time, up from 23% in 2005," according to a 2011 report from Mercer. Among younger workers: 40% of employees aged 25-34 are seriously considering leaving, along with 44% of employees aged 24 and younger. At the same time, over half (52%) of U.S. employers are experiencing difficulty filling mission-critical positions within their organizations, up from 14% in 2010.
