Allan E. Morgan earned his PhD from the University of Massachusetts Boston, where his research focused on the health effects of job transition and engagement in bridge employment on older workers. He also holds a JD from Capital University and an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. His work experience is long and varied. He conducted policy analysis and program evaluation related to job training programs in the State of New Hampshire. While at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, he served as a project manager and trainer in negotiation, collaborative problem solving and mediation. As an adjunct professor at New England School of Law, he taught courses in negotiation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. He has also presented numerous workshop seminars on negotiation and collaborative problem solving for both public and private sector managers. Dr. Morgan’s research interests include policy issues of an aging workforce, the role of bridge employment in the transition to retirement, and job training for mature workers.
