Philip Moeller has been an award-winning business journalist for more than 40 years and has become an expert on aging, health, and retirement. He currently is writing a book on Social Security and for five years was the writer of The Best Life blog for U.S. News and World Report, where until recently he was a contributing editor and, in 2012, co-author of the U.S. News book “How to Live to 100.” Phil has worked for newspapers in Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Hartford and Louisville. He developed and is editor of the American History of Business Journalism at AHBJ.org. He also has been head of corporate communications for a Fortune 500 financial services company and is the founder of insure.com, a major consumer information website.
