Betsy Kiss is Senior Director, Workplace Strategies, for Marriott International. In this position, she is responsible for leading the design, delivery and implementation of work-life effectiveness, multi-generational and diversity strategies, and workplace programs including women’s leadership, flexibility initiatives, dependent care, hourly workforce, and others.

She joined Marriott International as an Internal Auditor. After earning her MBA, she returned to Marriott as an HR generalist. Following that role, she held various positions in HR specialties, including Talent Acquisition and Compensation. Prior to her current role, she was Area Director of HR for ~300 of Marriott’s limited service hotels.

Betsy holds an MBA from American University, with a concentration in Human Resources. She earned a BS degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University. She is certified as a PHR through the Society for Human Resource Management, and is on the steering committee for the Greater Washington Work-Life Network. She lives in Maryland with her husband and two daughters.
