Katherine Kane was Master’s student in the Mental Health Counseling Program at the Boston College Lynch School of Education when contributing to the National Study. Her research interests are in the areas of mental health and aging, particularly regarding the care of clients with dementia, such as Alzheimer’s Disease. As a graduate research assistant at the Sloan Center on Aging & Work, she worked on The Boston College National Study of Business Strategy and Workforce Development. Prior to her position at the Center, Katie was a research assistant at the University of Virginia Institute on Aging for two years. She graduated in May of 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
