Study or Travel Abroad
Boston College is an International SOS member, providing BC students who study abroad with international medical, security and travel assistance, managed and administered by ISOS. International SOS is the world's largest medical and security assistance company, with more than 3,000 professionals in 24-hour Alarm Centers, international clinics and remote-site medical facilities across five continents.
BC's Office of International Programs regularly monitors State Department travel advisories and consular information sheets, and recommends that students and their parents also keep themselves informed. In addition to State Department warnings, students may also obtain information from respective U.S. Embassy/Consulates abroad.
