University leaders will welcome the Class of 2017 to Boston College.

Opportunities Fair for First-year Students at BC
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Conte Forum Concourse

Faculty, staff, and students will provide information on specialized academic programs and majors/minors, volunteer opportunities, campus retreats, campus recreation, intramurals, student employment, and other opportunities available at Boston College. Explore the opportunities at your own pace and connect with people who can answer your questions and provide you with valuable information.

Carroll School of Management – Portico Excursion BC ★
10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. | Fulton Hall Honors Commons

All first-year Carroll School students will meet their Portico Teaching Assistants in their assigned classroom locations prior to leaving for Boston.

Lynch School of Education Orientation and Lunch BC ★
11 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Devlin 008

First-year students in the Lynch School of Education will meet the Deans, first-year ERA instructors, peer mentors, and fellow classmates. You will preview different programs of study and critique an assigned research article about college student development.

Arts & Sciences Pre-major Advisor Lunch BC  ★
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. | Flynn Recreation Complex

All College of Arts and Sciences first-year students will meet their pre-major faculty advisors to discuss their academic plans and advising resources for their four years at Boston College.

Connell School of Nursing Orientation and Lunch BC ★
12 p.m. – 2 p.m. | Cushing Hall 001

Nursing students will meet their peer advisors for lunch and will be introduced to the Nursing faculty and technology resources.

Welcome Receptions across Campus
2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Flight Night ★
5 p.m. | Conte Forum

Flight Night is the first opportunity for all freshman Eagles to learn what it means to be a true SuperFan. Students will have the opportunity to meet varsity teams face to face, learn how they can be involved in athletics through student groups, intramurals, and club teams and participate in their first Football Pep Rally.  Come to Conte Forum to attend Athletics’ version of “Flight School” to learn all about Boston College Athletics.

Reservoir Run/Walk
11 a.m.

Lace up your sneakers for a casual run around a popular campus trail. Meet at the entrance to the Rec Plex and head out for a two-mile jog led by members of the Campus School Volunteers. Meet fellow runners and learn some local trails.

DiscoverBOSTON Excursions
12:30 p.m.

Journey into Boston with faculty, staff, or upperclass students to learn more about the wonderful city of Boston and all it has to offer.

Meet your excursion leaders at the designated on-campus location and travel into the city as a group. Trips will last approximately two to three hours. Space is limited.

Opening of the Exhibition
6:30 p.m. | McMullen Museum of Art & The Plaza at O’Neill Library

The McMullen Museum of Art welcomes you to the grand opening of its fall exhibition Courbet: Mapping Realisms, which features paintings from the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and American collections. Enjoy the pop stylings of Boston College’s student a capella groups and dance under the stars to the music of BC bOp! Refreshments will be served.
