Thesis Research Supplemental Grants
university fellowships committee
The University Fellowships Committee offers Supplemental Thesis Research Grants to seniors undertaking a thesis or Scholar of the College project to cover additional research expenses related to the completion of the project. These Supplemental Grants may be used, for instance, to visit archives, gather additional relevant data, conduct interviews, etc. Although all students writing theses are welcome to apply, preference will be given to students who have not previously received an Advanced Study Grant for Thesis Research.
Students must submit the University Fellowships Committee's Request for Supplemental Thesis Funding form, along with a one-page description of the work to be undertaken and its relevance to the student’s thesis. This documentation should be submitted to Jason Cavallari, Associate Director of University Fellowships, in Stokes S-140 no later than October 20. Research supported by these Supplemental Grants must be completed no later than the start of the Spring semester.
