Conference Travel Grants

The University Fellowships Committee will accept applications from undergraduates for a Conference Travel Grant to support the student's presentation of original research at an academic or professional conference, within the United States or abroad.
Typically, the University Fellowships Committee expects that of the total funding needed for attending the conference, an academic department will provide 25% of the student's expenses, the Dean of the student's school will provide 25%, with the University Fellowships Committee providing the remaining 50%.
Students seeking a Conference Travel Grant must submit the University Fellowships Committee's Request for Conference Travel Funding form at least one month prior to the conference, along with a letter of support from a faculty advisor. Reimbursement will occur upon the student’s return to campus, pending submission of itemized receipts to Jason Cavallari, Associate Director of University Fellowships, in Stokes S-140.
