Summer Parking 2018

Students, long-term guests, and visitors who want to park on campus at Boston College this summer have three options, which begin on Monday, May 7, 2018:

Option #1

Purchase a permit for the summer

  • Valid May 7–August 24
  • Cost $306
  • Parking Locations:
    • Commuter Lot (Mod Lot)
    • Campanella Way Plex (NOT in front of Maloney Hall)
    • Newton campus in white-lined spaces
    • Large library lot on Brighton Campus 

Option #2

Purchase a weekly permit

Best for students, camp/conference attendees. and staff here for a portion of a summer session or only one summer session. (Examples: STM faculty or students, summer students, etc.)
  • Valid for one week after date of purchase
  • Cost $61 per week
  • Parking Locations:
    • Commuter Lot (Mod Lot)
    • Campanella Way Plex (NOT in front of Maloney Hall)
    • Newton campus in white lined spaces
    • Large library lot on Brighton Campus
  • Temporary permits can be purchased for multiple weeks for those staying less than the entire summer.

Option #3

Pay daily in Beacon St. Garage

Daily parking is available in the Beacon St. Garage and Commonwealth Ave Garage. Overnight parking will be allowed for visitors from Friday, May 7, 2018 until Sunday, August 24, 2018.

1-2 Hours $12.00
2-3 Hours $18.00
3-4 Hours $24.00
4-7 Hours $28.00
Daily Max. $28.00

Weekend (begins Friday at 5:00PM

ends Monday at midnight)

$6.00/Exit*

*New Charges Begins at 6:00 am

  • Weekend parking cost are $6.00 per every 12 hours. No permit is needed to park over the weekend.
  • Overnight parking in the garage will be allowed for visitors during summer from Friday, May 7, 2018 until Sunday, August 24, 2018.
  • No overnight visitor parking in either garages on weekedays from August 24, 2018 through May 3, 2019.

 

How to Apply for Option #1 or #2:
  • All payments must be received in the form of a check.
  • To order a permit please submit request online using the Student Permit Parking Request Form.
  • Students working on campus over the summer must provide written documentation from their department, including dates of employment. This should be on department letterhead and signed by the student's supervisor.
