Students, long-term guests and visitors who want to park on campus at Boston College this summer have three options.

Option #1

Purchase a permit for the summer

  • Valid May 11 - August 14
  • Cost $210
  • Parking Locations:
    • Commuter Lot (Mod Lot)
    • Campanella Way
    • Edmond's Lots
    • Shea Lot
    • Newton campus in white lined spaces
    • Large library lot on Brighton Campus 

Option #2

Purchase a weekly permit


Best for students, camp/conference attendees and staff here for a portion of a summer session or only one summer session
(Example: IREPM faculty or students, summer students, etc.)
  • Valid for one week after date of purchase
  • Cost $16 per week
  • Parking Locations:
    • Commuter Lot (Mod Lot)
    • Campanella Way
    • Edmond's Lots
    • Shea Lot
    • Newton campus in white lined spaces
    • Large library lot on Brihton Campus
  • Temporary Permits can be purchased for multiple weeks for those staying less than the entire summer

Option # 3

Pay Daily in Beacon Garage

Daily parking will be available in the Beacon St. Garage and Commonwealth Ave Garage at the following rates:
  • First 20 minutes - Free
  • $3 per hour
  • $20 daily maximum
Overnight parking will be allowed for visitors from June 1 until August 21, 2009.


How to apply for option 1 or 2:

  • Go to Student Services in Lyons Hall and fill out the application. (Click here to print out a PDF version of the application.) All payments must be received in the form of a check.
  • Students working on campus over the summer must provide written documentation from their department including dates of employment. This should be on department letterhead and signed by the student's supervisor.
