I want to thank the whole Cleansweep team for a great event...The organization was evident from the time we arrived to cue up...The hours of work you did to get everything in order allowed us to zero in on just the items we could use for our program and our clientele... All of those pots and pans, dishes, silverware, small lamps, mops and buckets, paper goods...will be put to good use in our shelters or given to needy families...We found four microwaves that will go right into the guest rooms at the shelter and lots of other stuff...But I wouldn't want you to think it's all about the "stuff."  It's all about the people: the good people we can help; our great staff and volunteers; and the whole wonderful Cleansweep Team.  Cleansweep...represents the very best of BC, alumni, and students donating and volunteering to help us all.  To the entire Cleansweep 2009 Team.  Thank you and God Bless!

We often deliver to families who have nothing after leaving shelters.  It is a joy to be able to fill their empty apartments with whatever furniture they need plus household items like lamps, dishes, pots, pans, bed linens, and towels...it's the smaller household items that make a house a home.  We are grateful because, year after year, Cleansweep has been an important source of these household donations for My Brother's Keeper.

My team has just returned from the BC Cleansweep Day.  On behalf of the teachers and staff, I would like to thank you for your generous offer to include us in this day.  The teachers especially were excited to see new desk chairs and various other items to help organize their classrooms.
