Carry Forward Service
Club accounts remain intact from year to year. There is no risk of "losing" data, money or records. All financial activity is captured on the University Accounting Reports. These reports are available on a monthly basis.
Contract Negotiation
The Purchasing Department has a number of negotiated contracts with area vendors and often can negotiate a lower price than a student group can.
Funding Opportunities
Student groups can submit budget proposals to the Student Organization Funding Comittee (SOFC) for funding.
No Fees
Clubs can request as many checks and purchase orders as they want at no cost.
Sales Tax-Exempt Status
By having an account through BC, clubs may use BC's tax-exempt certificate.
RTAC Box Office
Student groups can use the RTAC Box Office to sell tickets for on or off-campus events sponsored by their club.
Sales
Student groups can benefit from vending in the McElroy lobby, concession sales (i.e. in Conte Forum), and dining facility sales.
Service
The SABSC is committed to providing helpful, efficient, and courteous service.
