General Information
Every summer, the Office of Residential Life and Facilities Services sends out a team to inspect and report on the condition of each living space at Boston College. Prior to check-in, the latest inspection of the rooms and their furniture is placed online. After check-in, it is the responsibility of each resident on campus to confirm the results of this inspection. Residents are urged to report discrepancies that they find between the conditions listed online and what they find in their room upon check-in. If no discrepancies are reported, it is assumed that the resident has agreed with the University's inspection results.During the academic year (health and safety inspections) and upon check-out, all rooms are inspected again. If the condition of the room differs from the initial inspection, the residents of the room will be charged for any damages or excessive trash.
This mandatory process is completed by using the Room Inventory form within My Reslife in the AGORA Portal. This form must be completed before the first day of classes to be considered valid.
Please note, the Room Inventory form does not generate work-orders. If any facilities issues need immediate attention please place a Facilities Work Request via the AGORA Portal.
