To be eligible for Graduate Housing, you must be a full time Graduate Student, Faculty, or Staff member of Boston College and have filled out an on-line application for housing via the AGORA Portal.
Application Process
PLEASE NOTE: GRADUATE HOUSING OFFERS WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL THE WEEK OF MAY1ST. THE APPLICATION WILL BE DOWN UNTIL OFFERS ARE MADE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING.
All correspondence regarding the application process will be made through e-mail. Please ensure that your e-mail address is valid, the Office of Residential Life is not responsible for any misdirected communications. All housing offers are made on a space available basis, application number is not a guarantee of a placement. We will make every effort to offer apartments in a timely manner, to ease the stress of relocating to Boston. Currently enrolled Graduate Students, the application is available now. Please note: New incoming Graduate students will NOT be able to apply for Graduate Housing until the beginning of March. Although you may be accepted to your graduate program, your status needs to be changed from "Applicant" to "Enrolled" by your graduate program. Until that is changed, you will not have access to the application. Please contact your graduate program to check on your status.

| Students New to Graduate Housing | ||
| Step 1: | Complete or update personal, contact, and family information. | |
| Step 2: | Select your housing preferences. | |
| Step 3: | Search for roommates (optional). Please note, if you request and receive an apartment you will be responsible for finding roommates. If you choose to live alone or are not successful finding roommates, you will be held responsible for the entire cost of the apartment. Chosen roommates must be a full time Graduate Student, Faculty, or Staff member of Boston College and must also have completed an application. | |
| Step 4: | When you are satisfied with your roommate situation and are ready to be placed, please indicate so on your application. | |
| Step 5: | Receive and accept placement offer(if available). If you choose to deny the offer, please cancel your application and indicate you would like to reapply. | |
| Step 6: | Submit your Housing Deposit within 10 business days of receiving your placement. Please note all housing deposits are non-refundable and are applied towards the 1st month's rent. A deposit option will appear on your application once you have accepted your offer. | |

| Step 7: | Confirm that you have read and understand the License Agreement. | |
| Step 8: | Pay your rent through your Student Account on the AGORA Portal. | |

| Students Currently Living in Graduate Housing | ||
| Step 1: | Complete or update personal, contact, and family information. | |
| Step 2: | Indicate whether or not you wish to retain your current placement. If you choose to do so, you will skip to the housing preferences section of the application and continue the process as stated above.. If you choose to request a new placement, you will need to provide your new housing preferences. | |
| Step 3: | If all other residents of a room wish to remain in the apartment, request and accept each other as roomates, otherwise, you may search for new roommates. | |
